Default Optimum System Performance Specs

Dear Digidesign or anyone who knows,

I'm looking for any info on getting my system up to its best performance. Like what I should throw out turn off turn on. Whatever I can do to get it working its best. I've seen this info when I was on OS9 but haven't seen much for OSX.

Pro Tools HD 2
G5 2.5 Ghz 2.5RAM
OSX 10.4.5
Pro Tools 7.1cs5

Thanks in advance,

Keith Moore
