Default bfd lite and pt 8 issues....

So I installed bfd lite and it says unable to locate files so I point it to the BFD lite folder which it somewhat works but random drums cant be located/loaded. I tried searching the forum but most of the threads are before pt8. anyone have a fix for this?

I had a similar problem when I installed BFD Lite on my Mac.
The instruction below apply to Mac, so .dmg would probably be .exe.
The file names might be slightly different on a PC.
TWO install programs need to be run.

When you run fxpansion_bfd_lite_56390.dmg - you should see 8 files and folders.

You need to run BFD Lite Plugin Mac Setup.pkg
AND
BFD Lite Data Mac Setup

When BFD is first installed in an Instrument Track in Pro Tools - it asks to you select the folder where BFD Lite Data Mac Setup installed the data.

Hope this helps.

Same here. I think the installer is not working correct. The sound files are missing from each kit. Some are there.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried installing/extracting to several different files and I've tried changing the settings within the BFDLite to default to several different file paths...nothing works.

I think it has to do with the fact that the Lite version simply doesn't include some (read: most) of the drums in the full version. I used to have the same messages pop up until I actually upgraded to BFD 2.0, which I'd recommend, anyway, because it's such a great program.
