Default scrubbing temporarily stalls

Hello
I have have a problem that has started from nowhere. I have been running PT 5.1.3 with an 888 I/O and a MOTU MTP. It has suddenly started to stall (not scrub at all for one second or so) when ever I attempt to scrub any audio. After it starts to work it is fine but I am constantly waiting as I edit my dialogue tracks. Any suggestions as to the cause of this?

Thank you
Mikeraphone

You might try disconnecting the MOTU, and dsee if it helps.
I had that issue with Opcode Studio 4, not with a USD.
