Upgrade CPTK HD - don't make my mistake

I was under a lot of deadlines and didn't really look closely at the new Pro Tools 11 vs HD and how they relate to having the Complete Production Tool Kit.

The upgrade to PT 11 seemed like a sweet deal. I didn't realize that I'd be giving up all the benefits of the CPTK like multiple Video Tracks, Surround Sound, quite a few plug-ins and instruments. I would have had a harder time selling a $600 upgrade to my boss, too.

Should have upgraded to HD. I thought HD was all about the high end interfaces, but I was wrong. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Well you're right because it used to be so until PT9 was released and suddenly it was not mandatory to have a Digidesign/Avid interface. It was simple back then (pre-PT9) when the hardware dictated the features available, but now it's a whole new ballgame.

I'm sorry you were not informed properly, but as you still have the CPTK license you can still do the crossgrade.
