Default Change/Toggle Keyboard Focus?

Is there a way (keyboard shotcut eg.) to toggle between the keyboard focus, besides clicking on the icon?
(you know the a...z icon)

This would be verrrrrrry handy

If you're talking about a way to switch the edit window command focus then you can hold down command+option, then press 1, 2, or 3 on the qwerty numbers to switch between edit focus, regions focus, and groups focus.

Hi Guys,

Just what I also needed to know since I converted my keyboard with the Editor's keys sticky labels.
However, I find that The Command+Option+1,2,3 doesn't quite do what I'd expect...

I thought that Command+Option+1 would toggle the edit focus, whilst 2 and 3 would toggle the regions and groups respectively. But the operation doesn't seem that simple - the groups a..z stays lit but only becomes active on the keyboard if i have the mix window at the front. Sometimes the edit focus goes off when I didn't realise I'd done that.

Could you kindly explain how this feature is supposed to work? I'd love to get to do things much quicker and command focus is definitely the way.

Thanks very much,

Mike

Command/Option 1, 2 or 3 only works when your focus is already IN the edit window.

Are you asking about the keyboard command to toggle between edit and mix windows?
Command/+ toggles between mix and edit windows.
Control/+ toggles you to and from the MIDI editor window.

Hope this works for you.
