Pro tools 2023.3 No Playcell plug in

Hey :)

New here, thanks for your time.

I own pro tools studio subscription and after I updated I didn't get the new plug ins.

I assume I am missing something but I can't find what it is, are the plug ins suppose to be installed like the other stock plug ins?

"stock" plugins? There are a very few *core* plugins installed with Pro Tools. Everything else has separate installers.

In your Avid.com account you should have installers for many other plugins in you My Products section, all listed under your Pro Tools Studio section, download those installers and run them.

Do this manually, don't rely on Avid Link buggy bloatware to manage this for you. Many of us just uninstall Avid Link.

Yet the playcell installation dosent show

This same basic stuff has been gone over in multiple threads on DUC in the past.

What does not show where exactly?

Is the .aaxplugin file in the plugin folder?

Are you trying to insert the plugin on a stereo instrument track?

Etc.

I guess first my question is - Does playcell automatically installed in the pro tools update?

If not is it in "my products" category in the avid account? If so I don't have any download link

PlayCell is a separate installation from Pro Tools.

In your Avid account My Products, you’ll find it listed under the Pro Tools tier you subscribe to.
