Default MIDI editing in PT... Can I delete all muted notes?

Hey all,

I can't seem to find a way to do this.... If I'm editing a MIDI clip, I generally mute the unwanted notes (just in case I decide I do actually need them!), but with a large orchestral arrangement that can eventually lead to a bit of a mess.

Once I've decided I definitely don't need the notes I've muted out, is there a way to delete only the muted notes?
Or even just 'only show unmuted' (or only show muted, then I can delete them)

Thanks!

I haven't seen one, but that really would be a useful feature.

Yes. Consolidate the midi clip into an new one and the muted notes will be gone.

Another option if you don't mind a change in work flow; instead of muting the notes, lower their velocity to zero. Once you are certain you wish to get rid of them, show velocity and zoom out(so the entire song fits on the screen), then draw a box around the note stalks near the bottom(those will be all the notes with zero velocity) and delete

You still have 5 star respect.
Glad I read the recent comments. I overlooked that addition as well.

Playlists for MIDI/Instrument tracks has been around since Pro Tools 8. What I am hoping for at some point is a "playlists" view for MIDI tracks. Something similar to the Audio tracks version.

Yes. That was what I was thinking about.
