Over 250 Xpand2 Patches FREE

i renamed the folder that i downloaded to 30 DUC and put it in the xpand 2 folder inside of application support like mentioned above.

when i launch xpand i don't see the new patches. Can someone help me figure out what i'm doing wrong here..

Can someone help me out?

I'm running PT 8 but I don't have this 'Plug-In Settings' folder. I don't even have a 'Digidesign' folder under 'Library > Application Support'. My Xpand2 runs normally with all the sounds that come along PT 8 working fine, though.

Is this normal? If so, where am I supposed to drop the files I downloaded?

You have to look two places. The first place is under your username. You should have a folder in the path

username/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/

The second place is the top level directory on the drive with your OS system folder on it

harddrivename/Library/Application Support/Digidesign

If you put everything in the first path then only that username can access it. If you put everything in the second path then everyone can access it.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but the link isn't working. I had these patches but reinstalled my computer and lost these patches. My fault on that one. Anybody have these free over 250 Xpand2 Patches?

I've just tweaked the patches that already are in xpand2! but here they are.

Note that some of the patches might be different from the ones i sent to RussUK in 2009.

Somebody remind me, with PT 11, where do I put this folder so Xpand2 can see it? (Windows 7 system).

I've looked and looked and can't figure out where I need to put Chris's folder of patches so that they will show on the Xpand2 patch menu. There's nothing in the manual to tell you either. This can't be that hard. Where do we put the expansion file?
