Default Brainworx plugins with Monomaker replacement?

I’m trying to ween myself off of Plugin Alliance due to the lack of Apple Silicon versions of what I actually used in Intel land.

The ony thing I’m really missing is the Mono Maker parameter quite a few PA plugins have. (For the uninitiated, Mono Maker sums a stereo signal to mono below a user definable cutoff frequency.)

The question is… are there any plugins from other developers that have something similar to Mono Maker that are Apple Silicon Native AAX?

I'm sure there are lots, even some free ones.

I had a loook in my "sound field" category in my plugin menu, and found DJ Swivel Spread, I haven't really used it, but I think it does the freq.dependent mono thing.

Fab Pro-Q3 or any EQ with MS will do. (using HPF on the sides only)

Basically any eq or multiband compressor that works in Mid-Side but allows you to set each band's mode individually.

iZotope has a few things that will do that. Waves has the F6 dynamic eq or Vitamin which you could also use for a little seasoning. IK has Quad Image which is a 2-4 band stereo imaging plugin. Putting that in 2-band mode and monoing the lower band will literally do the same as Mono Maker.

Thanks Simon.
I should have mentioned that I’ve just got Nugen Monofilter. It’s fantastic!
