Default mp3 option problem

I just recently bought a new MacBook Pro and I transfered all my files from my old MBP to the new one and everything in PT ran smoothly, up until I tried to bounce a mix to mp3. I bought the mp3 option way back, and got it working great with PT8 shortly after 8.0 came out. But, after switching computers, I get the error message: "The MP3 option cannot be enable because: Module initialization failed for MP3.bundle. The MP3 demo period may have expired." I did some digging in the forums, and it said to go in and delete the MP3 folder from Macintosh HD>Applications>Digidesign>ProTools>Codecs and then reinstall the MP3 option for PT8 downloaded from the digi website. I did all that, and it didn't work. I trashed my preferences and did the normal trouble shooting and still no luck. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thumbs down Re: mp3 option problem

Frustrated. I upgraded from PT 7.4 to 8 on a mac leopard. Paid the extra $$ to do so. Downloaded mp3 option installer. Exactly what Auth code or serial number do I need to plug in? Do I need to spend more $$?
This stinks

The auth code is in your receipt that you got when you purchased the MP3 option.

Thanks Darryl. I will take another look. I don't remember ever selecting that option.
