Is anyone using AAF or MXF files

Is anyone using AAF or MXF files in preference to OMF 1 or OMF2.
If so, what video platform do you get them from and what are the main advantages as you see it.
Ive looked in all of our FCP suites and cant see the option to output to anything other than OMF as an embedded file with handles.

We are using AAF files consisntently. They work flawlessly. Much better than OMF. We are getting AAF files from Avids. AAF output is not an option yet on Final Cut systems.

Since SoundTrack Pro 2 supports AAF/OMF I wonder why apple didn´t integrate AAF in FCP6?
