pro tools 6.4 le wont open

Hey folks and happy new year,

I have been running pro tools LE 6.4 on on my deskstop hp intel p4 2.53 ghz with Mbox1

it has always worked fine but the last few days everytime I have tried to use it it says that I am conflicting with other cpu tasks and to make adjustments to the playback engine.

I have ran virus checks, defragmented the hard drive, disabled norton and other background programs still no luck. It always worked before any ideas?

I am also have a laptop- amd athlon 64 compaq laptop. Pro Tools wont open- at first there was an error that it could not find the dae.dll file. I reinstalled the latest cs update and it still wont open. It is suggesting I should reinstall pro-tools- I cant find my getting started guide to authorize a down load of 6.4- suggestions?

neither of my systems is working and I am going through major musical withdrawal?

I'll hazard a guess that you have a DIGI002? If that's a yes, try reseating the power harness as protools will not run without hardware. Problem on 1 computer: I'd suspect the setup, but on 2 computers: I suspect the interface.

On the first system, what are the error numbers in the messages? Also, can you please provide more information on that system - processor, chipset, etc?

On the second system - we also need info on the chipset as well as the exact version of Pro Tools you have installed (I'm assuming 6.4cs9, but you know what happens when you assume..).
