Default Shift Command (Alt/Option + H or Edit > Shift) Crashes PT 2021.7

Hi, all! Hope someone can give any advice on how to resolve this issue. In PT 10, I'd use Shift command (Alt/Opt + H or via Edit > Shift) all the time to move selected midi events in the Midi Events List. However, in PT 2021.7 (which I've just installed), after having selected midi events in the Midi Events List window, accessing Edit > Shift, typing in a value for ticks to be moved, then pressing "ok", it just consistently freezes/crashes PT with the spinning each ball and I'd have to restart PT (and just do the shift manually). Might there be something I'm missing or doing wrong?

Any thoughts?

I'm running PT 2021.7 on M1 Mac Mini, Big Sur 11.6.

Thank you!

BUMP

I've been searching the web for even related answers, but nothing seems to turn up. I've also been experimenting anyway and discovered that if I select the notes (or region of notes) of the track in the Edit window -- BUT with the Midi Events List window NOT open -- I can go about the Shift command. If the Midi Events List window is open while I select and Shift from the Edit window, PT freezes. (I had hoped it would serve as a workaround so that I could at least see the Edit window note selections reflected on the Midi Events List window. But, too bad for me, it doesn't work that way.)

This poses a bit of challenge in terms of workflow, because in PT 10, I could directly select 1 or more notes (and other events) from the Midi Events List window itself and use the Shift command to slide the notes. The Midi Events List is more practical, at least for me, because I can instantly see what notes (e.g., "C#3" and the like) and other events (like sustain on/off) are actually being selected as opposed to selecting in a track in the Edit window where the notes are just represented by shapes/blocks/regions.

I really hope someone has an idea as I'm not sure if maybe I'm just missing something.

Thanks!
