Default True Z repair

The true Z input on my eleven rack is loose or bad. Trying to find parts to repair it.

Default Re: True Z repair

What's loose the socket itself or the plug in the socket? Intermittent electrical contact? (if so see if the contacts inside are bent or broken if bent can you bend them back). Retainer nut is there and tight?

Basic electronics stuff: if it's an intermittent contact also reflow the solder to check for a dry joint.

If you need to replace the 1/4" socket you should be able to get a part number off it, or even without, and find a part on Digikey or Mouser.

I can't recall for sure but if you are in a pinch I suspect you can swap the Output to Amp 1 socket with the Guitar In socket.
