Unhappy Import session data crashing every time.

Hi,

Been trying to import session! got a whole albums worth of sessions to import in to my mixing template and it keeps crashing every time.

I can load these sessions fine, i have also tried loading the sessions and saving them using save copy in and importing from the copy etc, but nothing works it crashes every attempt.

These sessions originated in LE, but like i said i can load the sessions fine, just can't import session data from them. after saving using save copy in, i thought it might work

got 12 sessions to get ready before tomorrow

Can't consolidate the tracks either as there are lots of muted parts they want to keep in the session!

crash log and dlog if Avid want to investigate...

Try "save copy in" into a previous version session-file.
If that doesn't help, try importing track by track to see, if it's a general problem, or maybe just concering one or two tracks that won't import.
Once you got this sorted out, one could try further from this point.

You could also just load the sessions and then import the session data that you need from your mix template.

Sometimes the easiest solutions are the hardest to think of. Nice one.
