file naming
Hi All,
I'm searching for a way to simplify the naming of a large amount of audio files on the fly. The text or scripts (with the names of the audio files) usaully come in the form of a Excel doc or a Word doc. We're talking about 2000 short audio files. I tried to create an Applescript that would copy the cel from an Excel document and Paste it into Protools but apparently Protools is not Applescriptable. Do you guys have any short cuts you use? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Charlie |

Re: file naming
There is an application called R-name, which does batch renaming: You can download it here.
I'm not too sure whether it is of any help for you - just a thought. Best, Timothy |
