Default MIDI Editing Bug

I encountered a bug while editing MIDI. It occurs when trying to move a note quickly after stopping the playback. Pro Tools halts, but doesn't crash. I could reproduce it in an empty session.

Is this a known issue?

My specs: MBP 2017, 10.15.7, PT 2020.11

Just tested this on a friends Pro Tools rig and getting the same results. Pro Tools freezes for a few seconds and then comes back. Sometimes it completely crashes and have to Force quit.

I don't think Avid will ever get Midi stable.

Please submit a support ticket. It's the only way.

No problem here. Was doing a bunch of editing yesterday in the MIDI editor screen and no hiccups.

That's interesting. Did you do the same actions as in the video?

Essentially the same using Arturia's MiniMoog emulation. I also have spindump & tailspin disabled according to this page (you may want to do the same): https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/ar...-Errors-on-Mac

Doesn't do it on my rig, but I'm still on Mojave 10.14.6 on a mid-2010 Mac, so...
