Installation Problems

hello all,

I have recently purchased a Digi 003, and Protools LE 7.3 and I am currently having problems getting the program to work. The software is currently installed on my computer but when I click the Protools file while it is trying to configure, it always stalls at the part called "creating DAE files". I let it go for a while the first couple of times just because I thought maybe that step took a long time, but when I checked my processes it showed protools as not responding. Then when I tried to end the process it simply wouldn't. I have tried several times to do this with no end in sight. My computer has 4 gigs of RHAM and has a nice processor so I imagine it is something small. Please someone tell me what it is I need to do to get my computer to accept this program.
