Hi Jeff, thank you for trying to help. In my video I only used one ambience track of the demo session. The Avid support made a video too with the same cracks. I cannot post this video here. But I did send the conclusion of the support earlier today. With my session which has indeed dark ambiences I heard this in the first place. This is why I did start this investigation.

What do you have your clip auto fade in/out length set to?
Setup > Preferences > Operation > Misc.

There's also a transport based Fade In option you can leverage which helps with transients on timeline playback locations.

Examine the Expanded Transport view for the toolbars in the Edit Window:
