Sorry, but it's WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY overpriced.

I've already paid for three copies of PTLE with my 001, 002R and Mbox2. Not to mention all the upgrades since 5.1
I'll be stuffed if I'm paying for another.

There needs to be special hardware only pricing for existing users.

I wish they would release a hardware-free version instead.
This is basically a dongle with stereo out.
It is ok as a compromise though.

I was going to pay $75 for the upgrade to 7.4. Assuming that the Micro will include 7.4, the price falls to about $204 for the hardware. That's not bad. I've already got my credit card out. I'll have one of these things as soon as I can get it.

I've been using m-audio's USB Transit with M-POWERED for quite a while now and it's great!
I paid 75$ for it and got M-POWERED for about 250$. And it all fits in my jean pocket.
Yes it's all more expensive...BUT I have optical SPDIF out (to connect to my Central Station) and 1/8" stereo in which has come in very handy on several occasions.
MBOX2 Micro = gimmick.
Give us better features (by better, I mean Basic Features that everybody else has).
Tsk, tsk.

They could have at least put some space on that thing.
4GB plus PTLE...now that'd be interesting. No..I wouldn't use it to stream audio...just store it.
But at USB 1.1...forget it.

Man, USB key, MBOX 2 Micro, house keys, car key, swiss army knife...
I'd need a purse, not a key ring.
