Which is the way it always should be. using a Mac when doing video or pro audio should always be the way to go.

There is no War. I'm certified to work on PCs. Macs are less maintenance period. They have less stability issues even with normal use not even talking audio video.

It has to do with the what's under the hood.

That and the central hardware instead of everyone and their brother putting stuff together.

It was just a matter of how quickly the installers could be ready. Windows is just taking a bit longer...no bias one way or the other here!

In general, i'll give you that. But the general PC user is a $300 PC from Wal-Mart, not a fair comparison to a $3000 Mac.

I take great care in all my builds to use quality parts, some better than used by Mac, and I prefer Windows. Any way, i'll stop as i dont want to start a holy war. There is no room for a PC guy in a Mac world

If we keep this up, next time Avid/Digidesign won't release any updates until all versions for all platforms are ready. I, for one, am glad that something came out for someone as soon as it is ready. Who knows, next time it might be Windows folks who get it first and then the Mac folks will be crying foul. Besides, it sounds like the Windows version is very close behind, so enjoy using Vista for a few more days. (Sorry, I couldn't resist the poke)
