Problems launching PT WITH Samplecell

I get: "PT hardware is either not installed or used by another program"(which is SC editor), when I try running both SC & PT together. I haven't used SC for a while but everything ran perfectly few weeks ago.
I have 5.01 with 9500/350 OS 8.6 /160Mb and PT24 + a mixfarm. I did change the ram battery a while ago and I think there has been some changes in the system..

Be sure to Launch PT first, then Sample Cell
If Sample Cell is open you cannot open PT LE!

PT must be "active in background" as well to run any other audio applications such as samplecell and softsynths

jace001 is on the right track. Launching SampleCell Editor first grabs the hardware for preview.

Just launch Pro Tools first, enable Active In Background, then launch the SampleCell Editor. You'll then be able to switch between apps.
