I'm exporting mixes(all in the same session: 24bit, 48k, BMF(Wav.)), and I burn them to CD they sound all compressed and [bleep]. It's the same way I've always done exporting, and on the same rig(HD3, PT's 7.1, G5 w/OS 10.4.2). I'm exporting them as 16 bit, 44.1k, stereo Wav files, but also just tried aiff & SDII just for kicks only to get the same result. I also tried bouncing a song just to compare it, same deal. Now I'm gonna try opening a new session, importing the mixes to that and exporting from there in hopes that it's something with the session. I actually tried this on another simillair rig with the same results. Seems to me it's got to be a problem with the session, but even if this works I'd like to find out whats wrong. Any suggestions? Please help!
