HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE?

I just spent about an hour trying to get the right sound out of my new bass and whatever I tried sounded wrong. First, the playback sounded so different than the sound I could hear during the recording that I just could not believe it. Then, no matter how much I lowered the input level, there would always be some kind of distortion, and the sound was way to nasal.


After about an hour I decided to put a compressor plug-in on the playback track to soften things up and that's when I realized there was an overdrive, EQ and comp plug-ins already on that track!!! Gee!!!!

Remembered me when you try out your marshall at a live show and everybody looks at you like you're a bee; so you start pumping up the bass eq and lowering the treble on the marshall and it still sounds like sh*t and that's when you realized the wahwah was on.

Random moments of mindless stupidity.

Don't feel bad Kickin', after about 6 12 hour days of video editing..I went to make a deck to deck DV to Beta dupe for a show..and spent 45 mins wondering why I was getting audio but no video signal. After rubbing my face, I looked up to see the y/c cables laying across the top of the DV deck..right in plain view.

hahaha. You just have to laugh when that happens...hoooHAAAA>.heeeee. Then...get some sleep

i recently got a new scsi drive, unhooked all my cords on the mac, put the drive in the external box, tried to turn on the mac, no dice, checked the scsi id, termination...scsi cords!! all good...so WTF?!? I forgot to plugin the adb keyboard, so it would not turn on!! i spent about 30 minutes being an idiot! :O

One hour ago, I was just trying to configure my Powerbook G4 so that it would use its ethernet port to go on the web. 20 mins later, I was still trying to configure my tcp/ip and appletalk control panels when I realized I didn't plug the ethernet cable in!!!

I have an 02R mixer. On a session a few weeks ago, I had everyone's sound, ready to go, went to the bathroom, got a cup of coffee, came back, no sound. For 20 minutes I checked everything, it was just working! What could have happened? I'm at the end of my rope, cold sweat pouring from my forehead, clock running. Then I noticed that I had somehow turned off the master fader.

i spent about 1+1/2 hours searching for a screw driver i just had a minute ago. where could it have gone? it was just in my hand. i looked everywhere. i was getting REALLY MAD and grabbed a smoke, put it in my mouth as the screw driver fell out.

i had been holding it in my teeth for an hour and a half. boy.
