Default PT 10 Error "Unable to Locate Hardware"

Hello,
I have just installed PT 10 and I keep getting that same error "Unable to connect to hardware..." I have loaded (and reloaded) the drivers but still the only way to get PT to open is with the ASIO4 drivers installed. This only gives me 2 tracks.
I cannot see either of my 192 I/O's! Any help would be SOOOOO appreciated.
thank you.

ALBEE,
sorry about that I thought that the profile I filled out would have all of the correct info displayed.

Computer:I am runnning a dual core pentium (2.8 GHZ with 8 mb ram) running windows 7 with service pack 1 installed.

Cards; pci hd core and (1) accel card.

Converters; digidesign 192 I/o, Apogee AD-16x

Console: Sony DMxr-100

Protools 10

Again, I do appologize for the initial lack of information. Any enlightenment you may be able to provide would be very much appreciated.

Regards,

Ray

Hi,

I am in the EXACT situation as you are! (with a 96 IO and PT10).

Have tried everything from uninstalling, reinstalling (as admin etc.) and the only success is to use the ASIO4ALL

Win 7 is seeing all the hardware with no conflicting issues and even Digitest gives me the thumbs up. Firmware is current 3.0 and iLok is happy.

I am sure that many others are in the same situation, if so.....Please help!

Thanks in advance

How is the 96IO connected? HD card, HD/Native card? Have you both installed drivers for your specific hardware(Avid drivers, not ASIO4ALL, which should only be needed with 3rd party interfaces). I suggest to HPRC that you start a new thread of your own, and both should provide a Sandra report(read this thread link found up top-Help us Help You - READ THIS Before Posting!)
