Default Consolidation?

Guys i've just spoken with a guy I want to do my mix and he mentioned to me that the files need to be consolidated. he made an effort to explain to me what it is but I don't understand.

Does anyone know what he's talking about and if so how do I do it using pro tools 7 LE?

Default Re: Consolidation?

Basically you're creating new files that include all edits and any silent spaces in a track; he's asking you to do this so that when he imports them, they will all line up right without having to use time code.

To consolidate, select all tracks and hit Shift+Option+3.
