PT Launch Failure; "Shared library error?"

Hi y'all,
I just reluctantly re-installed OSX 10.3.9 in my G4 laptop.
Now ProTools won't open up! So I reinstalled v6.1 from my original CD.
(I had been running 6.2.2 before.) PT still won't boot. I get an
error message saying;
Application Launch Failure. The application Protools could not be
launched because of a shared library error: "A<Protools PPC dbg>
<Protools PPC dbg> <DAE> <Fic Set Overview Buffer>"

Any advice on how to proceed?

you need to download all the PTLE 6.4 updates. It´s free.

Man, I've tried re-installing everything from the original 6.1 CD, then from the 6.4 upgrade which I downloaded from Digidesign, also tried 6.2.2 which used to run flawlessly, all with no success. I've trashed the DAE preferences in Library each time. The good news is that I'm no longer getting that "Library" error. What happens is ProTools starts loading up, starts loading the plug-ins, and when it gets to "Normalizing Gain Change" it crashes and there's an error message saying "The Application ProTools LE 6.4 has unexpectedly quit."
I'm on a 1.25Ghz PowerPC G4 laptop with 2GB SDRAM running a newly re-installed OS X v10.3.9. Airport and Bluetooth are "Off".
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've ben down for over a week now!

You should do a clean uninstall of every version of Pro Tools that you've had installed, then reinstall. After reinstalling, trash preferences before launching Pro Tools.
