If you can't even get that far go to "~/Library/Application Support/PT Prefs" and delete that folder and everything in it ~ means /Users/your username

Looking at this now, nothing leaping out at me yet. Did you have the backup path set to somewhere other than the default?

Fixed in 1.6.14 - please test.

Hey, thanks a bunch, Pete! Melodyne wasn't showing up under ReWire and your app fixed it.

Hey Pete,

Thanks for the wonderful program - used it many times over the years. Just recently I ran it and it seems to have confused PT 12.5 about my Speakerphone authorization. Now PT says Speakerphone failed to load because it is not a valid 64 bit AAX plugin. I've reinstalled the plugin repeatedly, and updated iLok manager, with no success. Do you have any ideas? I've heard there is a PT file somewhere of "valid" plugins, that PT12 uses to load faster. I assume this file was deleted when I ran PT prefs, but the question is how to get PT to rebuild this list properly? Thanks in advance for any help.

Tim

Firstly the easy one, glad people are finding it useful.

Tim, I have Speakerphone on my system and I'm on 12.5 and actually had to trash prefs this morning and didn't get this problem. Yes, there is a cached list of plugins that if you trash all prefs will get deleted. Pro Tools scans and rebuilds that list when it is next run - you should notice Pro Tools opening significantly slower first time as it scans them. Do you definitely have the latest installer? You don't have an old AAX 32 bit installer? If you run PT Prefs and go to the plugins tab and scan just AAX plugins what version does it show for Speakerphone?

Cheers,
Pete
