How to use a Mini-Me for for Bouncing/Dithering?
I can't seem to figure out a way to use the Mini-Me's UV22HR dithering with the Digi 001. What would the steps be after tracking is done?
Thanks, EjA |

Re: How to use a Mini-Me for for Bouncing/Ditherin
What´s that suppoesed to be good for.
The Mini Me´s dither is for the hardware internal samplerate processing only, for conversion processes. Once you record something other that 24bit it´s wordlength dithered automatically. (FAIK) regs

Re: How to use a Mini-Me for for Bouncing/Ditherin
The Mini-ME's UV22 is purely internal, you can't use it on a digital signal from PT as the Mini-ME does not feature any digital input. Consider UV22 just as marketing argument for the quality of its 16bit output.
With Digirack POW-r you've got another world-class dithering algorithm supplied for free with the recent Pro Tools releases.
