Different card versions according to PT versions?
Lets say I have a PT8 HD card which I bough new years ago when it came on the market.
Now lets say years after that, my friend Joe buy a new PT10 HD card. I know that obviously the software versions are different. But, the card he have is different too or is the same card I have? Then cards came in different versions?

If the both cards are PCIe they are the same
If your card is older model and has the PCI/PCIX no, yours don't have the Accel DSP chips that the PCIe cards do

I think the new interfaces are supported since PT 8.1 so you should be all good.
