Artist Mix Not Working in PT11?

Hello,

Since installing the PT11 trial, when I open PT, the Avid Artist Mix isn't working. I've installed EuCon 3.0 (twice - before and after I installed PT11) and I've said Use EuCon in PT's preferences. However, when I add a track in PT, the faders on the Artist Mix don't do anything.

Any ideas?

Have you saved any custom eucon settings for PT10, if so try moving the pt10 xml out of the user settings folder and see if that makes any difference.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have installed EuControl 3.0 and I don't think I saved any custom eucon settings. I don't see PT10 XML file under Application Support / Euphonix.

This gear has massive problems coming online and has been like that for years without correction. I've tried a few orders of process and thought it was all good but then it will go offline again even while I'm using it ! . Sometimes turning it on once protools is loaded will work but then sometimes you need it on before protools is loaded lol.

Try and remove the device from the list in the eucon console and drag it back over again or restart the service is the only other way in system preferences if you are on mac. Restarting the service always manages to get it online for me and I think it's a bug still then. I had no idea v3 is out.

Thanks - I had set up a static IP before, but upgraded to Mountain Lion so I could use PT 11, and it had wiped that setting for some reason. I set it up again and the Artist Mix looks like it is connecting consistently per the EuControl app (icon is black, shows up in My Surfaces). However, now it doesn't even work with Logic, let alone PT11 - I think this is due to the Mountain Lion update, because it was working perfectly fine before that.

Any ideas on how to do a reset or get it working with OS X 10.8? Thanks! Even HUI mode in Studio One no longer works.

Update: Installed 2.7.1 again and it is working fine in Logic, etc. Obviously not in PT 11 due to the wrong version, but looks like this is an issue with EuCon 3.0.

So no word from AVID on why EuCon 3.0 doesn't work with OS X 10.8.4 but 2.71 does? Can't upgrade to PT 11 unless this is sorted.

Strange. My Eucon 3 is working on 10.8.4 with PT11.

Hmm - what was your installation process? A number of us have been unable to use EuCon 3.0 with PT 11 (or any other DAW), but reverting back to 2.7 works fine (with other DAWs, but not PT11).
