Pro Tools First Cloud Collaboration?

Hello, I have a friend who recently got Pro Tools First. We were hoping we could have some fun with cloud collaboration as I thought that Avid had already released those features in First. I guided him through the setup remotely, but when he needed to set up his cloud collab. id he said that there was no 'Artist chat' option in the window menu. I looked around on the web and found this in the Avid Knowledge Base:

Q) I have read about the new Cloud Collaboration features coming to Pro Tools. Can I collaborate with other Pro Tools users with Pro Tools | First?

A) The Cloud Collaboration features are coming to all versions of Pro Tools in 2015, including Pro Tools | First. One of the reasons behind launching Pro Tools | First is that it will allow anyone to download the app and participate in the new Cloud Collaboration features with other Pro Tools users, including other Pro Tools | First users, making it possible to play and write music with your friends and colleagues wherever they are in the world even if you have never used Pro Tools before or if you are using another DAW.

Now I'm just confused :/

Any help on this is appreciated.

Welcome to the community.

Unfortunately, the collaboration features have not yet made it into Pro Tools First (and we don't have an ETA at this time). The Cloud Collaboration FAQ is correct about this, so we have obviously overlooked updating the Pro Tools First FAQ - will get that done ASAP.

Technically, you could create a new (free) Avid Master Account for a specific collaboration and use the "up to three" Projects. Everybody in your band can use the access to those Project and everybody can work on them, just not at the same time.
You have to work our some "singing in" and "signing off" time, or communicate who is currently online.
