When doing automation on my good old C8 I had a "Flip Faders" button, so I could use the faders for automation...
As far as I can see the MC Mix have the same option. Thing is, I only have a MC Control, not a mix, and I have been looking around for a flip faders option, but I have not found it. Is it possible to use the faders when automating plug-in parameters? Or can I really only use the rotary encoders for that? |

It's sad but the MC Control doesn't have "flip faders".
That's the reason why I kept my Command|8 and use it with the MC Control. I use the C8 mainly for plug-in editing (via focus mode) with flipped faders. Best Mark

The one with the Flip Faders is the MC Mix. I think you got the wrong unit, try out the MC Mix.The Digi 002 works great together with the MC Mix, but I'm not sure if C8 works at all together with the Artist Line...

If you read my post again, I wrote that the mc mix had this option, and was asking if the mc control also had

Hi Amolin
Maybe you know but flip faders does work on the hui protocol with MC control. I don't know if it controls plugins but it certainly works for aux's. Its one of the things they annoyingly disabled when they went to eucon. Maybe, hopefully they'll put it back in a future software release, but nothing much seems to be happening on that front at the moment. CH |

That should be so embarrassing to Avid, but they could care less!
