hi
we have several HD2 systems here running 7.4cs4. i want to point all the systems to a common folder to store our plug-in presets. so i go to a plug-in 'settings preferences' and change the 'root settings' folder to my new location. i've set up a 'plug-in settings' folder as described in the manual and i've made sure that settings are being saved to the root settings folder. but it seems that only some plugins (such as altiverb, d verb, pitch) are happy with the new folder. other plug-ins (such as focusrite d2, d3, digi compressor/limiter) throw up the error; 'settings can only be saved to the "xxxxpluginxxx" folder inside the "Root Settings" folder or inside the working sessions plug-in settings folder, or sub folders of these folders' i've tried trashing preferences, but that hasn't helped... can anyone help? thanks |
