Hi everyone,
After almost 10 years on the ProControl, I've just taken delivery of a 32-Fader D-Control and am very excited to be able to (legitimately)hang out in this section of the DUC!

Custom Fader what? Focus what? I'm going to learn.....jiu-jitsu?

cheers,

Joe

That's because we don't have enough secret hidden features like this one for Inline mode 'input track' assignment. I bumped into a very convenient way of assigning the 'input' track when working in Inline mode. Well at least for me it was new ... didn't know about this one yet.

I have always made these assignments by dialing in the input track (aux) from the encoder. By accident I ran into a WAY more convenient way today that I was not aware off.

With the encoders in 'input' view, on the audio track - press the bottom row encoder select switch to activate the input assign mode.
Next, instead of dialing in the aux input track from the encoder, simply press the channel Select switch of the desired Aux.

And voila ... assignment done.

BLAZING fast if you have to do 24 inputs for example.

I'd love to know what Dig has in the pipeline for these controllers???? Seems we have some very good suggestions but no idea if they are getting to the developers.

AH ... yes that's a nice one. Thanks for that ....

To further clarify ... Ctrl + BMP selecting the I/O or send encoder allows you to change the NAME of that input / output or send path without having to go to the I/O setup.

Thanks for the update Jeff.

MUST HAVE documents for every D Command or D Control user.

Should be within hand reach or a few mouse-clicks on EVERY system.

Mandatory ....

I'm going to our other facility tomorrow to give the Assistants a quick overview just so they aren't lost when something comes up, and this will be very helpful!!!
