Question about Audiosuite...
So, maybe this id a dumb question. But i just learned the "magic" of Audiosuite for processing the effects on a track so that I can turn the plugin off and reduce CPU load.
This works great for me when a client gives me a large session to add guitar dubs to, since I'm still using a G4 iBook. But how come all of my plugins don't show up as options when I try to desructively process a track? They all show up for use as inserts on the track, but a few of them are missing (certain EQ's, amp sims, etc.) when I want to Audiosuite the track. Is this normal? I was under the impression that RTAS plugins would also show up as options in the Audiosuite window. Am I missing something here? Thanks |

Re: Question about Audiosuite...
RTAS stands for Real Time Audio Suite so yes some of those plugs don't appear in the Audiosuite list because they are separate plugs.
You can do the same thing by bouncing a single track with the RTAS, and importing it back into the session. Yes this takes longer, but if you're that tight on CPU it's an option. |
