Default Rosetta 200 cables going to 002 question

Hello,

I just purchased a Rosetta 200 and it will be coming in a couple of days. I wanted to purchase the cables that would be necessary to connect the Rosetta 200 to my Digi002.

My head started twisting after reading SPDIF, Toslink, etc...

I believe I need a TOSLINK on one end to an optical SPDIF on the other.

Could somebody post a link to a store that sells the cables that I need. Just so I have an idea of what exactly I am looking for.

I know I am going from my optical out to Rosetta back to my optical in...I believe!

Thanks guys,
k

The easiest way to connect a Rosetta 200 to a 002 is via S/PDIF. If it's a short run, a standard RCA-to-RCA cable will work. Just like you use to plug a CD player into your home stereo. Yes, you can buy a S/PDIF cable, but for a short run it's not going to make any difference. It's cheaper than buying optical cables, plus it leaves your 002 optical port open in case you want to add an 8-channel converter later, like a Rosetta 800.

What he said but you should get an RCA-RCA video cable instead. It is important that it be 75ohms for s/pdif which audio cables aren't necessarily.
