Question Another DAE 6006 Question

Hi all- I've tried searching this forum to find my particular issue but have had no such luck so here's my issue...

I'm running Windows Vista 32 and/or 64 (dual boot) and I get the "DAE 6006" error when attempting to run ProTools M-Powered 8.0 CS2 with multiple Delta 1010's (I have three). If I disable any two of them then I can load and use ProTools just fine. Does PTMP 8.0 support multiple Delta cards? I had no problems prior to the PTMP 8.0 upgrade and would sure like to find a work-around.

My machine specs are:

Intel DP35DP motherboard w/Intel Quad Core @ 2.83 GHz
4 GB RAM
Multiple 500 GB SATA hard drives
Three M-Audio Delta 1010's
Windows Vista Ultimate, SP1, 32 and 64 bit OS's on a dual boot machine

...Thanks! sg

I have 2 modded 1010's I still like using (not 1010LT), are you sure two aren't working? That would stink if there's an issue with PT8 and more than 1 delta. I'm using 2 now in 7.4cs8, and I've had 3 using vegas.

But, have you tried delta driver version 5.10.00.0051?
I'd give that a shot first (better driver IMO anyway for XP32). I just don't know if it will fly with vista though, sorry.

M-Powered only supports one device and having multiple cards installed would definitely explain the errors.

I'm running a delta 1010 and 44. Always have done with M-Powered versions 7.3, 8, 8.0.1 and now i get the DAE -6006 in 8.0.3 because I can't have two?

I think this has always been the official view, but it certainly has not been true.

I'm having a DAE 6006 error, thought I would just bump this thread

I have the m-audio fast track 8r. I have installed it with the most current drivers for 64 bit operating system, it is working fine.

I open Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.04 and get DAE ERROR 6006. Any ideas as to why?

Here are my PC specs

AMD PhenomII X4 955 Processor 3.2 GHz
Ram - 8gb
Windows 7 64bit
