Pro Tools Crashes on Exit.

Hi, I'm getting a crash every time I quit Pro Tools. Can any of you guys interpret something out of this log? This is a 2019 MBP, i9, 64 gigs of RAM. Never had any issue previously. It is also worth noting that I just noticed the laptop won't charge when PT is running. Battery has no more than 50 cycles. Tried on 2 chargers and different cables.

For what it its worth, the same thing started happening on my Mac Pro Trashcan. Pro Tools 2022.5 and Mac OS 10.15.7. Any thoughts, Avid?

I remember this being more the rule than the exception on PT10 which I ran for many years. Never found any answer anywhere, and lived with it, because it was little more than an annoyance. Looks and feels pretty bad, though. Haven't seen it since I jumped from v 10 to 2020.

What exact error messages and/or behavior on the screen do you see? Folks call all sorts of things "crashes" so helps to be clear.

You have to troubleshoot. It's most likely a plugin issue (plugins get to do stuff as sessions close) or a corrupt session. Does this happen on multiple sessions? When you test with a new empty session? Have you done standard troubleshooting stuff like trashing prefs, testing after moving all .aaxplugin files out of the plugin folder, creating a new admin account and testing there, testing with the Mac's built-in output etc.... see "help us help you" up the top of every DUC web page.

It's next to pointless to just ask what might be causing the problem... (and Avid staff are not likely to respond to you here) when the clear thing that needs to be done is you need to troubleshoot. If you do basic troubleshooting and still have the problem, then the Pro Tools log *might* help, pity nobody looked at the log from the original post on this thread which has now been removed. See them in ~/Library/Logs/Avid, likely pretty cryptic, but you might get lucky and see a warning or error message or something weird. Can be useful for comparing runs that work OK with ones that don't. Are there files in ~/Library/Logs/Avid/Crashlog?

Same here. Once in a while I get the "would you like to send report to Avid error" its always after I quit. Havent found any rhyme or reason other than sometimes it crashes after I quit.

Pro Tools 2022.5 and Mac OS 12.3.1

I seem to remember this happening about a year or so ago. I think I narrowed it down to the FB360 plug-in.
