Default PT 2021.6: Windows 10 versions: Is Build 21H1 required?

I was just reading the minimum system requirements for PT (Native) 2021.6.

At the very top it says this:

System Requirements and Compatibility with Pro Tools 2021.6 Software

Windows 10 64-bit build 21H1

I'm running Version 1909 (Build 18363.1556).

Is Build 21H1 really essential? Has anyone run PT 2021.6 on Windows 10 Build 1909?

Based on the Avid Compatibility Chart, it looks like the newest version I can install is 2020.12.

It's certainly not "essential" and I don't think anything important that would affect Pro Tools has changed between your Windows version and the current one. I'm using 20H2 myself... at my own risk

It is supported only on 21H1, may work on earlier builds but Avid will not help you in case you have problem with unsupported OS/PT combination

Thanks.

I updated Windows 10 to Build 2004 and will install PT version 2020.12, which is listed on their compatibility chart.
