Default Eleven Rack with Ableton Live Lite 7

Is it possible to make the Eleven Rack work with Ableton Live Lite 7 ?
When I do try to record it has a doubling effect and playback only plays back the dry signal.

If playback only plays the dry signal, your input is set wrong. You want the Rig Output not the Guitar. Guitar is is the DRY guitar before any effects.

Input 1: dry guitar
Input 2: microphone
Input 3/4: Stereo rig output
input 5/6: Stereo digital in (AES/EBU or S/PDIF)
Input 7/8: Stereo line in

If you are using input 3/4 like you should be and only hearing a dry guitar, what actually have you got set up in the rig? (Start with one of he factory presets).

I am plugging the guitar to the guitar input, and the usb out to the computer, then plug the headphones into the headphone jack on the Eleven Rack.

So on Ableton I should set the output 3/4 to on, and on the Eleven Rack I should set it to rig output?

No you should set Albeton *input* to the Eleven Rack 3/4. The Eleven Rack Rig output is the input to Pro Tools. Just think about it.

The Albeton *output* should be set to 1/2 for the Eleven Rack main L/R output.

For the record the Eleven Rack outputs are

1/2: main output L/R
3/4: Reamp L/R
5/6: Digital Output

So I set the Ableton input 3/4 on for Eleven Rack, then what do I set for the Eleven Rack output so I can go usb into my computer to use Ableton?

I have given you a list of every Eleven Rack input and every output. What do you mean set an input "on"? You set the input of the Abelton stereo track you are trying to record to input 3/4 to record the Eleven Rack rig processed guitar signal.

Your question does not really make sense. Set what Eleven Rack output to? Where? "To go *into* your computer??... that is the 3/4 output from the Eleven Rack just mentioned. What else are you trying to record?

If you mean what do you set the Ableton main/monitor output to, that is 1/2 on the Eleven Rack to hear your mix out the Eleven Rack main outputs.

I've enumerated all inputs and outputs, you presumably have all this gear in front if you, Sorry but I am not getting why this takes/weeks or days to sort out, just play/switch inputs/outputs it should take minutes to sort out. Is there a deeper problem? Have you recorded music/audio before? Do you know how to use Ableton? What interface do you normally use it with? What exactly are you trying to record, from what source/instrument(s) plugged in exactly where on the Eleven Rack? How many simultaneous things/what exact ones are you trying to record?
