RTAS instrument problems with Intel Mac
Can't get my older RTAS instrument working (FM7, Cultsampler etc) with my new Intel Macbook Pro (2Ghz, 2Gb RAM 80GB HD, 128Mb Graphic). Just bought wizoo Darbuka, and it SHOULD work when M-Audio sell it. But it dos not appear in the Instrument list at the mixer, or anywere. Are not many of the RTAS instruments working with thye new Macbook Pro? (Digidesigns Xpander work without any problems).

Re: RTAS instrument problems with Intel Mac
You need to make sure that you're using the universal binary version of the plug-ins. You can't simply install any plug-ins that you used previously on the PPC Mac's, as they won't work properly. They might install, but won't launch and will usually make Pro Tools unstable. Check with your 3rd party manufactures.
