G4 mirror door Mix + OS9 - move up to OSX PT6 ???

Hi Jules,

Just catching up on your posts and FYI if you still want to use your Stealth port for MIDI under OS X you can. GeeThree have some drivers, check their site. I still use my Stealth to drive an AMT8 from my Mirror door 1.25 Ghz Mac. It's working for me with PT HD2 6.9.1 under OS 10.3.8. [ I also used it fine with Mix+ and PT 6.4.1 ]

are you aware that digi will never put out a patch to run Mix with OSX.4 (tiger) bertter just upgrade to HD now.

I need to stick with what I have right now..

I can afford a few hundered $$ on new video cards & software upgrades.

What I can't do right now is drop $20,000 on an upgrade

Business doesnt demand it
Clients don't demand it
Freelancers visiting the studio don't demand it

Why should I care if my DAW is stuck on the last revision that works?

Folks still use

Sony Oxford consoles
SSL consoles
Yamaha & Mackie digital desks

That are never going to get further software "upgrades"

I am only doing rock n roll - no fancy midi / soft sampler stuff. I have outboard digital reverbs..

Interfaces - seem OK

Haven't yet tested: midi / Retrospect / DDS dat recorder
