DIGI 002 Firmware Update in 2023

Hello all,

I am trying to update my DIGI 002 firmware however I don't know how. I have Pro Tools 8.01 LE on a MAC G5. I tried looking for the DAE Folder however I can't seem to find it.

When I run Pro Tools everything works except for the Faders which indicates X.XX firmware. Is there a direct way to connect to the Digi002 to update the firmware?

I saw a posting in 2002 however it stated it need to run Classic OS and Pro tools 5.1... That doesn't work for me because I have MAC X 10.5..

Please Help!!!

Hi, welcome to the community.

If it works, you can ignore firmware warnings. The box is so old it has been out of support for years, but try if this helps.

And by the way, when you search something use google and this command:

google> +site:"avid.com" -site:"duc.avid.com" -site:"community.avid.com" -site:"c2.avid.com" -site:"b2.avid.com" keywords for your search here

This way you only get results from avid.com, except user base discussions, if that is what you actually want to search. This way you could easily find out for example, that 002/002R final sale date was 13-MAR-2008 and end of support 13-MAR-2013
