When soloing playlist takes of multiple grouped tracks(ie drums)
the mix group has to be active should be the eduit group this changed in pt11 when i"m comping drums, i sometimes alter the mix to hear certain tracks better, real pita to keep turning group on and off to the powers that be pls notify avid thanks

I think I have that right. So this behavior is different in 11 than 10? I will try to confirm ASAP. Off the top of my head, soloing would/should be part of Mix Grouping, not Edit Grouping. of course most people make Groups that are BOTH, since that's what PT defaults to. |

playlist soloing was always grouped as edit, because its only functuoin is for monitor comping which is editing
was this way since pt7 until pt11 broke it even with grouped as both, the mix group must be highlighted or it wont work definately something wrong downloading 11.1 right now I'll post resultes later

I get the same behavior in 10.3.8, 11.0.3, and 11.1.
Playlist soloing works as a part of an enabled Edit Group. |

fixed in 11.1
broken in 11, 11.01, 11.02 i'm on pc , so haven't tried 11.03
