Default Keyboard Shortcut - Vertical Zooming

I seem to have a problem with one of the keyboard shortcuts for zooming. It's the Alt+A one.

According to the manual, Alt+A should provide me with vertical zooming to show all tracks. It doesn't. It seems to work exactly the same as the Alt+Start+A keyboard shortcut, which is the horizontal zoom to show all tracks.

I'm left with having to use the mouse on a track and select 'Fit to Window' sizing with the Alt key pressed so that the 'Fit to Window' command works on all tracks in the session.

Any help would be much appreciated.

With thanks.

What you're looking for (on a Mac, at least) is control+option+command+↑ or control+option+command+↓. It should be similar on a Windows machine.

I use the two together constantly. Best of luck!

Ryan - A BIG thanks.

Ctrl+Start+Alt with up or down arrow keys does the trick in Windows.

Doesn't seem to be documented in the Shortcuts Guide under the Zoom section.

I use 95% of the shortcuts mentioned in this video, daily. Great find! "Very practical" :)
