Carbon Pre custom brightness?

Has anyone figured out if the Carbon Pre has a similar Custom Brightness control for the front panel lights? My Carbon Pre arrived yesterday and the lights are so dull I can hardly see the button labels.

I'm aware that on Carbon:
"Press and hold the meter button and release after four seconds to cycle through four different front panel brightness modes for Carbon."

But can't find a similar button function on Carbon Pre.
