Plug-In Automation Enable Menu gone! 2021.6.0

Hi all,
just upgraded to Ultimate 2021.6.0 from 2021.4 and i see that the Plug-In automation menu within the plugins do not show the parameters. this is a MAJOR issue as i'm mixing clients projects daily. Has anyone found this problem and know of a fix?

Working normally here. You might get a helpful reply if you let us know the relevant computer and OS details. Note that on Mac, Catalina users seem to be flying, while Bug Sur users are in hell.

Is it all the plugins? Check if EQ3 1-Band has eight parameters available to automate.

Edit - or maybe McDSP's "ultimate" doohickies don't support AAX automation quite right in 2021.6. If you have the individual plugin, try that and see.

It must be an issue with your system config somehow.

FYI, I'm running PT "vanilla" on macOS 10.15.7 (2020 iMac 5K 10 core i9)

What happens if you turn on Plugin Controls Default to Auto-Enabled in Mixing preferences then instantiate a new plugin? Do the automation parameter lanes show up in the drop down menu in the edit window? Also, what about it you ctrl-opt-cmd click a control on the plugin? Does the context menu for enable parameter for automation show up?

This is off topic but, I wasn't aware that there was a Protools 2021.4 version. From what I've seen, the last version before 2021.6 was 2021.3.1. I just use Protools vanilla and not Ultimate so I may have missed that version, but I was checking in the "Technical Alerts" section where new releases are announced and also did not see a Protools 2021.4.

I would expect that trashing prefs and databases so all the plugins get scanned on the next start would likely resolve the problem.

I'm guessing a typo - although 2021.3.1 was released in April, so technically you might think of it as 2021.4.........I believe we all argued about it at the time.
