Avid Control Question

Hi. I have been utilizing Avid Control on my iPad while tracking in the studio. Is there a way to record and create a new playlist at the same time with the press of one button?

Not that I am aware of, BUT, if you enable(in Preferences) the feature to automatically create new Playlists during Loop recording, you can Loop record. If you are not familiar with this, maybe check youtube for some tutorials as it might help get you what you need. For me, when I wanted to have remote control of PT, I got a rolling stand(from On-Stage) and attached a small(15" x 18") board and screwed down a 24" monitor and a mini keyboard with trackpad. Those fed a 30' USB cable and a 30' HDMI cable(fed thru a nylon mesh cable wrap) and at the computer, my EDIT screen HDMI cable went to an active HDMI splitter box(around $40) to mirror on the remote screen(both running 1920x1080, but not the same size(remote was 24" and main screen was 43"). That gave me full control of my session from my vocal booth, drum kit and anywhere else in the studio

There’s no one button for this but you can create a soft key macro with multiple commands to perform this action.
