Default Core Audio Aggregate Devices - 003 As Controller with other I/O at Same Time?

2 Questions:

So now that you can use Core Audio Aggregate Devices, can I use my 003 just as a controller for PT9 and use another Device for my I/O?

Can I use my 003 as A Controller and it's I/O plus another Core Audio Device's I/O all at the same time.

Highly doubtful.
Notice it said specific Avid controllers and Hui.
Makes sense because it would hurt direction of new Avid/Euphonix based controllers for PT9 and forward.

Well, then – will I be able to use two of the compatible audio interfaces listed here simultaneously? And thus pair up my Mbox 2 with an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R and record 10-12 tracks at the same time?

I'm wondering this also. Got a thread in the PT9 section, but no official word from Avid as of yet.

It looks like an "either, or" setup to me. You can choose BETWEEN the available interfaces, but not both. I have also been wondering about being able to use the 003 as a controller, while using something else for IO, but I haven't found a solid answer just yet. I wonder if the 003 can be put into midi mode? For the moment, PT9 and my 003 are working better than 8.0. anything.

Problem is the MC Artist Series don't work with PT9, still basically HUI.
